Back to school is right around the corner and if you are a parent of children under 4 you may be wondering what is available for you. Being a parent of small children at home can often be an isolating experience so please look for a program or activity that may interest you.

Family Futures, in partnership with Queen Mary and Westview Community Schools, will be launching the opening of our Baby Cafes beginning the week of September 9th, 2013.

Baby Cafes will offer parents and children under the age of 4 an opportunity to drop in to the schools, meet with school staff and other parents, have coffee and a chance for children to play.

Our 123 Play With Me program will also be offered through the Cafes each week throughout the school year.

Join us for crafts, snacks, songs and games with your children as well as free children’s books. Please call the schools for more information on times and dates the Baby Cafes will be opened.

Family Connections at King George Community School will once again be offering a variety of programs to parents and children. The Early Learning Centre provides program for children under 3 and many evening group sessions are offered for parents and include child care. Please call King George for more information.
