An extremely bad movie, and a Rumble

Movie 43

After watching this movie, I went home and took a long shower. I still felt filthy afterwards. Movie 43 is by far the most offensive, the most vulgar, piece of trash I've seen in a long time. The only reason I went in the first place was because of the huge cast (Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman, Dennis Quaid, Richard Gere, Terence Howard, Uma Thurman, and Gerard Butler just to name a few).

Movie 43 consists of a series of short films. Each short film is more offensive than the previous one. Nothing is off limits, and trust me, when I say nothing. I am almost wondering if the director set out on purpose to make the most offensive movie of the past decade, perhaps the past century. If you are easily offended, you should stay far away from this movie. Don't waste your money.

Royal Rumble

First off, I like everyone else in the packed theatre, was very disappointed to have the show start nearly a half hour late due to some technical difficulties. This is not the first time a pay-per-view show has started late. It's very frustrating when you pay $15 for a show, only to miss the opening match. I need to applaud the management though for offering everyone a free movie ticket after the show.

Overall I thought this was a very good pay-per-view. The pre-rumble title matches were all great. What makes the Royal Rumble match entertaining is the surprise entrants. I don't think anyone foresaw the return of Chris Jericho. I hope he sticks around for a while. Other notable surprise entrants were Goldust, and the Godfather.

I pretty much called for John Cena to win the Rumble. I figured it would be either him or Ryback. The whole “guarantee” on RAW was sort of a giveaway, as well as all the talk the past few months of a Cena /Rock rematch at Wrestlemania.

Maybe I'm in the minority here but I was really hoping for a Punk win, screw job or no screw job. Rock as champion is great for business but I just would have preferred a surprise twist. I did hear a mention of a possible Brock Lesnar appearance but sadly it would be just another Internet rumor. I just don't know how the WWE can beat the hype of last year's Rock/Cena match, even with the title possibly on the line now. Granted there is lots of time until Wrestlemania, so a lot of different scenarios could still unfold. Elimination Chamber should offer a few surprises, including what I am expecting the return of the Undertaker.
