Anderson Motors is one of Prince Albert’s oldest businesses. Setting up shop in 1935, it’s been a family run business ever since, with the Jones’ family taking over in 1955. Don Jones has been working for his father since he was 13 years old washing cars and sweeping floors and now runs the business with his brothers Doug, Ron and son Nathan by his side.
“We’ve been locally owned and operated for a long time now. It’s kind of a rare thing nowadays and we continue to do it because of our customers,” says Don who operates the dealership. “We’re accountable for what we do. We have integrity. We support the community and the people and we always support our staff.”
Now it’s not just the option of brand new cars that that Anderson Motors provides their customers. If you do want a brand new Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler or RAM vehicle, this is the place the go. Though maybe you want to purchase your first ever car for yourself or your child that just came of age to drive and you don’t want them driving your pride and joy. Anderson Motors gives you the option for used cars as well.
“You’d be surprised at the wide range of selection we have for used cars,” Nathan says. “We have some cars that we sell from under $10, 000. Then we have some stock that can go all the way up to $50, 000 if you want to purchase that coveted car, but don’t want to pay the new price. We always want to make customers happy with their used cars. We’ve never turned away a customer.”
For a long term business to be in this industry, you need to have a commitment to the people. This is what Anderson Motors is all about. The people. This includes their staff.
“It’s a family run business so it’s a family feel when you enter the business both as a staff member and as a customer,” says Don. “We’ve even had customers become staff members they enjoyed the experience so much. We’ve had people work here for years and years and they love it. You can really tell they do because it translates to the customers. Selling the car itself is only 25 per cent of the business. It’s the 75 per cent after all that where we thrive and it truly satisfies everyone involved.”
Customers feel comfortable in Anderson Motors. There’s no pressure sales, the same deals are given to everyone and they can repair and keep maintenance on your vehicle to keep it going and to keep you satisfied. Walking through the door you’re greeted right away and taken care of as soon as possible. There’s even a place for your children to hang out in case they don’t get amazed at the selection of vehicles within the dealership.
So why buy from Anderson Motors? They know they’re not perfect, but when it comes to their imperfections they know how to deal with whatever comes their way. Whether it be your issues that you’re having in purchasing a car or even going in to repair or keep up maintenance on it. It’s how they treat their customers. With accountability, integrity and most of all respect.
Don Jones knows that matters to the customer.
The Jones family and the Anderson Motors family truly loves the community and they get involved. With involvement in community projects, charity works and of course the Prince Albert Raiders, they care about the people of Prince Albert and they want to make sure you get similar care when you enter the front doors of their dealership.
