“We always try to go the extra mile to meet our customer’s needs,” said Amy Hadley, owner of Amy’s on Second. “The restaurant is comfortable, it’s a great location, we have friendly staff and we offer quality products. From our fish to our wild rice to our vegetables to our honey and our bread, it is all fresh. “

Every evening head chef Kayla Kapacila, winner of the 2015 Best of the Best awards for best local chef, creates two unique features that are not listed on the regular menu. The possibilities are endless and always delectable.

“Whatever our features are on any given night, I hope people come here and they enjoy their meal as much as I enjoy cooking it for them,” said Kapacila.

Many of the reviews for Amy’s on Second mention the impressive service, where the skilled servers are always prepared to suggest a good wine pairing with your meal.

“We have an extensive wine list with a lovely selection from all different regions of the world at all different price points,” said Hadley. 

“you can always find something that you'll like. We pride ourselves on our wine selection because we bring in wines that aren’t available anywhere else in Prince Albert.”

At Amy’s on Second passion makes the difference and Amy’s offers a soothing and comfortable atmosphere. The walls are decorated with art from local artists that is switched every few months, and a fireplace adds to the ambience. 

Amy’s on Second has been featured in Western Living, Canadian Living, the Lonely Planet, Fodor’s Canada and Where to Eat in Canada. The restaurant received a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence in 2013 and 2014 and in February of 2014 they were also featured in the Prairie Diner.
