Conexus Credit Union

At Conexus Credit Union they care about their members and they strive to be Saskatchewan’s financial services provider of choice.

With more than 40 locations across the province, 900 employees, and approximately 116,000 members, Conexus is Saskatchewan’s largest credit union and the 6th largest in Canada.

“Our members are our shareholders,” said Brent Smith, branch manager at Prince Albert’s South Hill Conexus Credit Union. “We truly care about the members we serve and we want to see them financially secure.”

At Conexus they reward their members. In 2014, Conexus launched their FreeStyle No-Fee Account. This is a personal chequing account with zero strings attached. That means it has zero fees - no service, processing, monthly, recurring or convenience fees. There is no minimum balance required and they will not charge monthly fees no matter how much or little is kept in the account. There is also no multi product requirements involved meaning you are not required to get a credit card or a mortgage or anything else to open the account. It’s really that simple. On average, the FreeStyle No-Fee Account will save members approximately $185 dollars a year in bank fees.

“The whole intent is to make people more financially secure,” said Smith. “But it’s more than just the Freestyle account. What we want is for people to come in here and have a conversation with us. We are about helping our members to ensure they have a secure financial future.”

Conexus has deep roots in our communities across Saskatchewan. Our shared values and social responsibility inspire clients and communities to achieve their goals. Our employees contribute to the vitality of our communities through their dedicated volunteerism both during and outside of work hours.

Our community investment program demonstrates our commitment to the communities we serve.

“In 2014 Conexus dedicated more than 2.4 million dollars to communities across the province in the form of corporate financial support, scholarships at post-secondary institutions and high school leadership awards for grade 12,” said Smith.

And for those that like to do their banking on the go, Conexus also has an app for both Apple® and Android™ devices.* To find out more about Conexus Credit Union, its products and services and how you can become a member, visit Coneuxs.ca or visit your local branch.
