If you like Authentic Chinese cuisine, then WK Kitchen is the place to visit in Prince Albert.
They offer the largest Chinese buffet in Northern Saskatchewan and a great selection at a price everyone can afford.
“We have been in business in Prince Albert for almost 40 years,” said Dick Law owner of WK Kitchen. “We were first located on River Street, then in 1981 we moved to our current location.”
Law said they take pride in the fact that all their food is served fast but still fresh and hot.
“We produce Authentic Chinese cuisine,” said Law. “Our experienced chef’s got their start in Hong Kong, China. This enabled us to boast experienced chef’s that knew how to properly cook Authentic Asian cuisine.”
Guests at WK Kitchen can enjoy a variety of options either at the buffet that runs daily or fresh off their menu. They offer a large selection of favourite Chinese dishes including chow mein, chop suey, and fried rice. Some newly featured items that Law mentioned are also now available at WK Kitchen include General Tso's chicken and, spicy Thai noodle.
WK Kitchen recently revamped their interior. Law said they replaced all the flooring and updated the appearance of the restaurant, modernizing the look and feel. This in turn makes it more inviting and appealing to our guests. He said they also enhanced the buffet so it continues to keep the food hot.
They also recently joined the SkipTheDishes.ca network allowing customers that prefer take out or delivery to place their orders online. Law said on a weekend they can get anywhere from 70 -80 sometimes 100 deliveries depending on the day. “We have two or three delivery drivers,” said Law. “And they are very busy.”
Families that order pick up or delivery can take advantage of ordering off the restaurants combination dinner’s menu and they accommodate families starting at 2. Some western meals are also available at WK Kitchen including: chicken fingers, fried chicken, fish and chip, pizza’s and burgers.
Many customers still prefer to visit WK Kitchen’s restaurant and order either selected options from their menu or else enjoy their lunch or supper buffet. Law said the buffet is always fresh, hot and has a great variety of dishes. Customers can enjoy the lunch buffet for the price of $11.95 and the supper buffet for the affordable price of $14.95. “We try to create great value, while keeping our prices competitive.”
