“Half of our store is dedicated to lifestyle clothing, so not only can you get your sporting goods here but you can come in and get some fresh clothing and relatively hip clothing,” said Levesque.

Gene’s Sports Excellence is prepared for winter some of the best brands when it comes to the latest winter fashions are stocked. Hockey season is also upon us and the latest in hockey equipment has also already been stocked up on including gloves, sticks, pads and helmets. Skiing is another popular sport in Prince Albert and at Gene’s Sports Excellence they stock a variety of Nordic skis brands including Fischer, Rossignol and Salomon.

Gene’s Sports Excellence first opened its doors in 1972 and since then the store has grown into three locations and changed its name from Gene’s Cycling & Sport to Gene’s Sports Excellence.
