Iconic Waskesiu Lake restaurant comes to an end

Waskesiu Lake’s iconic beachfront restaurant the Angry Taco was torn down over the weekend, marking the end of an era.

The 85-year-old lakefront building housed the restaurant for about 12 years, which prior to its takeover by Dave Archer and his family, was known as the Beach House.

The president of MADD Prince Albert has faith the ramped-up impaired driving laws attached to the legislation to legalize marijuana in Canada will work to address a possible spike in drug-impaired driving.
