RCMP investigating suspicious structure fire on Ahtahkakoop First Nation

Shellbrook RCMP are investigating a structure fire on Ahtahkakoop First Nation that occurred earlier this month as suspicious.

Police were called to a fire on April 17 at around 3:04 a.m. Upon arrival, officers found the Social Development Building completely engulfed in flames.

The lacrosse season is off to a good start for the Prince Albert Predators, who secured victory Saturday in Moose Jaw, taking the Mustangs 8 - 6 in their first league game of the year in the Prairie Gold Lacrosse League.

The rejuvenation of a long-time Prince Albert event was marked with a prestigious honour: the Prince Albert Winter Festival was awarded the Tourism Award at the 27th Annual Samuel McLeod Business Awards.
