Fire at P.A. restaurant caused "cosmetic" damage

A piece of equipment from a cleaning truck caught fire and burnt the exterior of Montana's restaurant on 2nd avenue west on Wednesday evening.

Shortly before midnight, Prince Albert Fire Department and Prince Albert Police Service were called to the restaurant.

Gunner, an eight-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier, is making a slow recovery after a brush with death near his home.

P.A. area veteran involved in insurance battle, after nearly losing service dog

A Prince Albert veteran has been told he must pay for the damages to a woman's car, after his service dog was struck and nearly killed near his home two weeks ago.

Former pro wrestling champion "for hire" coming to Saskatchewan

WWE Hall of Famer Ron Simmons will join Canadian Wrestling's Elite on its next Canadian tour across five provinces, including multiple stops in Saskatchewan during the month of May. 

Ken Thomas, who graduated from Wesmore, claims he was arrested by Saskatoon police last weekend and dropped off outside the city.

Marathon runner claims Saskatoon police dropped him outside city

A man well known in Saskatchewan's marathon and triathlon communities alleged he was dropped off by police outside Saskatoon and left to fend for himself.

Ken Thomas went to a concert last Saturday night in Saskatoon. Afterwards, he went to Stan's Place, a bar on the city's South side.
