Saskatchewan Roughriders bring in receiving help

Jul 13, 2011 | 7:17 AM

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have added a bit of size to their receivers. 6'3 receiver James Robinson has been added to the roster.

The former Toronto Argonaut was released by the Argos after training camp. The big target had 52 receptions for 747 yards plus three touchdowns in 27 games for Toronto.

Robinson had two stints with Toronto, orginally signing in 2007 and then heading to the National Football League for two seasons before returning mid-season of 2010.

The Roughriders currently have receivers Rob Bagg, Cary Koch, Obed Cetoute, Aaron Fairooz and Ernie Wheelwright on the nine-game injured list.
