Rider Nation to donate for food drive

Rider Nation can show its generosity at Saturday’s Rider game, which is the first stop on the Purolator Tackle Hunger food drive.

Non-perishable food items can be donated at Mosaic Stadium.

Last year, more than 700 pounds of food was donated across Canada. The Quarterback Sack Tally program, which donates a quarterback’s weight in food every time he is sacked, helped Purolator reach that goal.

Since it began in 2003, more than 3.7 million pounds of food has been donated to food banks across the country.
