Power outage affects P.A. and area

Power was out in much of Prince Albert and surrounding areas this morning.
The loss, which lasted about five minutes, was caused when lightening struck a transmission line that serves Prince Albert, said James Parker, SaskPower spokesman.
An extensive area was affected by the power loss. People are reporting on paNOW.com that the area stretches from St. Louis to north of Prince Albert, including Muskoday, Birch Hills and MacDowall.
