Missing boaters found alive and well

Jul 5, 2011 | 11:28 AM

A group of missing boaters at Smoothstone Lake, northwest of Prince Albert National Park, have been located, safe and sound.

The four boaters, who were last seen heading out to the lake to go fishing on Sunday, were found in a cabin this morning by a local outfitter.

The boat had run out of gas and with no cell phone reception, they were not able to contact anyone.

The group made it to shore and spent the time in the cabin.

Their boat has since been towed back to shore.
