U14 Aces ace provincials with 6-0 performance

It was a golden weekend for the Prince Albert U14 Aces softball team, who went 6-0 at provincials and secured themselves a trip to nationals next month.

The Aces defeated teams from Saskatoon, Regina, and Southey in the round robin before winning their semi-final 9-4 against the Saskatoon White Raiders. In the final, the Moose Jaw Ice took a 6-2 lead over the Aces at the half, but the Prince Albert team managed to stage a comeback and won the final 11-8.

Their undefeated performance secured the U14 Aces a trip to nationals, which will be held in Montreal in August.
