UPDATE: Teen girl reported missing now found

UPDATE: Police have located Jaynie Ballantyne according to a recent media release.

A 14-year-old girl is missing from Emma Lake, and the Prince Albert Police and RCMP have asked the public for help.

Jaynie Ballantyne was reported missing from Emma Lake on the evening of July 12, police said. She was described as Indigenous with dark hair, standing 5’2” and weighing 110 lbs. When she was last seen, police said Ballantyne was wearing grey sweat pants, a grey hoodie, and was carrying a backpack. Police said she may be headed towards Montreal Lake, and asked residents to keep an eye out.
