Two men are dead and two others are injured after a crash on Highway 4 just south of Cochin, RCMP said.

According to police, the two-vehicle collision occurred at roughly 11:30 p.m. July 11. The driver and front passenger of one of the cars involved were both deceased when police arrived on the scene, RCMP reported, and the rear passenger of the same car was taken to North Battleford for treatment. The driver and lone occupant of the other vehicle was treated for injuries at the scene by paramedics and was released. All four people in the vehicles were adult males, RCMP said.

Police said their initial investigation suggested one of the vehicles was attempting a U-turn on the two-lane highway when the collision occurred, though the incident remains under RCMP investigation.
