Dragons hand out awards after surprising season

After their surprisingly-silver season, the Saskatchewan Rivers Dragons wound down the 2017/18 season with their year-end awards Tuesday.

Jonty Kruger was named the team’s most valuable player. The best forward award went to Aidan Quinton while the best back award went to Zach Tretiak.

Rookie of the year went to Bryan Farrell. Getting the most improved awards were Jacob Beauchesne among the forwards and Dante Doell in the backs.
