Four youths, youngest age 12, arrested near Prince Albert

Four youths face several charges after police seized several weapons at a traffic stop outside of Prince Albert Friday.

Around 11:50 p.m. on May 18, a member of the Prince Albert RCMP Combined Traffic Services Unit stopped an SUV on Highway 55. The Mountie confirmed the vehicle was stolen out of Carrot River and seized a .22 caliber rifle, large machete and BB guns with ammunition.

The four occupants within the SUV were aged 17, 16, 15 and 12. They were all arrested without incident.

All four were charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000, possession of stolen property under $5,000, several firearms and weapons charges and breaches of probation and sentence orders.
