Will there be a double-repeat at the May Day Masters?

May 20, 2018 | 4:57 PM

Last year in the 2017 May Day Masters golf tournament, Danny Klughart won the men’s championship flight while Andrea Ring was crowned the women’s winner.

They’re both in position to repeat as champions this year. Both Klughart and Ring lead their divisions after two rounds of play, and also paced their packs after the opening round Saturday.

Klughart has back-to-back 61’s so far in the tournament on the 16-hole Cooke Municipal Golf Course, and sits five strokes ahead of Colin Coben and the rest of the field.

Ring’s race is much tighter, as she has a one-stroke advantage over Pauline McDougall (148 to 149 after two rounds).
