Outlaws outlast the Steelers

The Prince Albert Outlaws outlasted the Saskatoon Steelers, holding on to an 8-7 victory Thursday at the Kinsmen Arena. The victory puts the Outlaws’ record at 5-3 on the season.

The Outlaws led 8-5 with 12 minutes remaining, but the Steelers got it to within one with goals from Ryan Potie and Brad Schnitzler.

Jordan McDougall, Brody Holizki, Aaron Gordon and Javan Bexson all scored twice for the Outlaws in the victory. Tanner Fetch picked up the victory in goal.

The Outlaws will enjoy the long weekend, getting back at it with a couple of games on the road: May 26 against the Estevan Impact and May 27 against the Moose Jaw Chiefs.
