A portion of twinning complete

Jun 2, 2011 | 8:30 AM

The drive between Rosthern and Hauge just got a little nicer as another section of twinning on Highway 11 has been opened.

This means an additional 19 kilometres of northbound lanes were opened.

Northbound motorists will be able to access Hague from a newly built access road on the north end of Hague. Southbound motorists will travel on the existing set of Highway 11 lanes.

This opening is only one stage of the full twinning in the area. The temporary steps allow traffic to be safely accommodated in the area while construction continues on other portions of Highway 11, said a press release from Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways.
