It looks like the adventure is over for a moose that made its way into Saskatoon.

Saskatoon police say the animal was successfully tranquilized Monday around 10:15 a.m. by conservation officers around Prairie Avenue and Grant Street.

Police started received reports early Monday that a moose had been seen within city limits. It appears that the animal may have come up from the riverbank near Silverspring.

Witnesses helped police track the animal throughout Silverspring. When Forest Grove Saskatchewan Environment officers arrived, the moose was tranquilized, but it kept on going.
