Jan 29, 2018 | 3:18 PM

UPDATE: Prince Albert RCMP have confirmed Silas Ermine was arrested Tuesday morning without incident. He is scheduled to appear at Prince Albert Provincial Court on Wednesday.

Prince Albert RCMP have now laid charges in connection to a home invasion northwest of Prince Albert earlier this month.

On the morning of January 19, an 82-year-old woman was assaulted in her home and had her car stolen.

Two people have been arrested: Danny Daniels, 28, from Little Red River Reserve and Jade Ermine, 28, from Sturgeon Lake First Nation.

Daniels’s case is back in court on Feb. 26 and Ermine will appear Tuesday at Prince Albert Provincial Court for a bail hearing. The RCMP also issued a warrant for the arrest of Silas Ermine, 39, from Sturgeon Lake.

All three people have been charged with break and enter with intent; theft of a sport utilty vehicle; possession of property obtained by crime; and assault.

Anyone with information on Ermine’s whereabouts is encouraged to call RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

None of the allegations have been proven in court.
