Soyko named SFMAAAHL first star of December

The Prince Albert Northern Bears went undefeated in December and one of their star players got some accolades from the league as a result.

Assistant captain Abby Soyko was named as the first star for December in Saskatchewan Female Midget AAA Hockey League.

Soyko had four goals and six assists in five games last month. In her two January games, Soyko scored three goals in a pair of victories against the Melville Prairie Fire.

Soyko currently ranks sixth in league scoring with 16 goals and 30 points in 22 games this year.
