Jan 2, 2018 | 11:29 AM

Prince Albert police answered 276 calls over the New Year’s weekend and made 54 arrests – 24 of which were alcohol related.

Police chronicalled multiple incidents in their weekly press release, including an intoxicated man who hit a parked car in full view of officers. But very early this morning police arrested a 14-year-old driving erratically.

Officers received a complaint of a possible impaired driver at roughly 2:30 a.m. They were told a grey Ford truck was swerving on 22nd St. E. past the golf course.

A 14-year-old male from Prince Albert was arrested and charged for impaired driving and exceeding .08. He was released to his family and will make his first court appearance in Prince Albert Provincial Court on Feb. 2.
