Dec 17, 2017 | 2:25 PM

It’s been a while since the Prince Albert Northern Bears have lost a game. They extended their winning streak to 10 games with a pair of wins over the Regina Rebels this weekend in the Queen City.

The Bears beat the Rebels 2-1 on Sunday after a 6-1 thrashing on Saturday. They’re winning streak started back on Nov. 11 and the Bears have swept the Swift Current Wildcats, the Melville Prairie Fire, the Notre Dame Hounds, the Battlefords Sharks and now the Rebels in two-game sets.

The last time they lost a game was on Nov. 9, against the Saskatoon Stars 3-2. The Bears will look to exact revenge on the Stars on Dec. 20 at the Art Hauser Centre, before they head to the Mac’s Midget AAA Tournament in Calgary over the holidays.

The Bears currently sit in first place in the SFMAAAHL with a 16-3 record. The Stars are in second but have four games in hand with a 12-1-2 record.
