Sports year in review: P.A.’s Moran hits target on world stage

As 2017 draws to a close, paNOW is taking a look back on the biggest sports achievements of the year, selected by our sports reporter Jeff D’Andrea.

Prince Albert’s Tristan Moran winning a silver medal at the World Youth Archery Championships earns him a spot in paNOW’s Top 10 Sports Stories for 2017.

Moran anchored the three-man Canadian national team, consisting of Calgary’s Cole Beres and Jordan Adachi from Cranbrook, B.C. that earned a silver medal in the team event.

They fell to Team Mexico in the gold medal match to end up with the silver, after defeating South Africa and Great Britain.
