Police catch hotel bathroom robber

A 20-year-old will be in provincial court today after he was arrested for robbing a man in a hotel bathroom.

A man was using a hotel washroom last night, when he was approached by another man brandishing a knife. The robber took his chain necklace and a small amount of cash.

The male suspect was located a short time after by patrol members. He was charged with stealing cash and personal property, possession of a weapon a knife for a purpose dangerous to the public peace, and breach of undertaking to be in his residence from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.
