The Prince Albert Northern Bears piled on the goals in a two-game sweep of the Battlefords Sharks this weekend on the road.

The Bears won Saturday’s contest 8-0, before a close 6-5 victory on Sunday to complete the sweep.

Bears forward Brooklyn Anderson had a huge weekend, scoring a hat trick on Saturday, and added another two goals and an assist on Sunday.

Ryan Fontaine had a 36-save shutout on Saturday.

The Bears still have three games before the holiday break, a two-game set in Regina against the Rebels on Dec. 16-17, before hosting the Saskatoon Stars on Dec. 20 at the Art Hauser Centre.
