Mintos make the Trojans pay in overtime

The Prince Albert Mintos (16-4-2) beat the Tisdale Trojans (15-4-1-3) in overtime by a score of 2-1 Wednesday at the Tisdale RECplex.

Luke Nkawma was the overtime hero, scoring on the power play halfway through the extra frame. Austin Lamotte had the lone regulation goal for the Mintos.

Mintos goalie Cale Elder made 28 saves in the victory.

The Mintos are in Swift Current on Sunday for their final meeting this year against the Legionnaires.
