Negligent cook to blame for late night fire call

According to a post made to the Prince Albert Fire Department Facebook page, a pot left on the stove too long is it blame for a disturbance inside a West Flat apartment building Wednesday night.

At roughlyly 8:20 pm, fire crews responded to a report of a structure fire in the 800 block of 12th St. W.

Once on scene, crews found a pot had been left unattended on the stove causing the suite fill with light smoke.

The pot was removed and the smoke was cleared. There was no damage to the apartment and no injuries.
