Mintos earn road split after win over Argos

The Prince Albert Mintos earned a split in their two-game road trip this weekend, beating the Notre Dame Argos 3-1 on Sunday. 

Jaxon Tait led the way offensively with an empty net goal and two assists.

Luke Nkwama, who scored a pair of goals in Saturday’s 5-3 loss to the Regina Pat Canadians, scored another on Sunday. He’s now tied for second on the Mintos in goals with Josh Pillar with 10. Defenceman Kade McMillen has also scored in back-to-back games.

The Mintos play the Beardy’s Blackhawks on Tuesday, 7 p.m. at the Art Hauser Centre for their next game.
