Oct 25, 2010 | 11:03 AM

The provincial government is investing funding to enhance agriculture education in Saskatchewan.
The province has announced a three-year, $15,000 dollar sponsorship agreement with Prairieland Park's AG-Experience program.
The AG-Experience illustrates the importance of agriculture in Saskatchewan and the role farmers and ranchers play in feeding the world.
“Agriculture extends deep into the heart of the province and so does the commitment to agriculture programming at Prairieland Park,” Prairieland Park Chief Executive Officer, Mark Regier, said in a news release.
“We are pleased to see the government's commitment to agricultural education as it relates to food production and the impact it has on our daily lives.”
The event includes interactive displays focusing on farm animals and a number of crops grown in Saskatchewan.
Each year more than 250,000 people view the exhibits at various locations throughout the summer.
