Save-On-Foods launch set for spring

Nov 9, 2017 | 4:00 PM

While some of the storefronts in Prince Albert’s newest business development have opened their doors, construction is still underway on the newest grocery chain to grace our city.

Save-On-Foods was aiming to open their doors in the fall of this year, as Dollar Tree and Petsmart have done, however the opening date for the grocery retailer has been moved back to the spring of 2018.

“With weather and construction project priorities and the different things that can happen over the months and the winter leading up, we don’t like to put out any kind of date that may ultimately disappoint customers if we’re off by a week or two,” Julie Dickson, from Save-On-Foods said.

Dickson said the grocery chain is working on opening 10 locations across the country next year and those dates are often in flux.
