Barons feel the almighty Chill

The Prince Albert Midget AA Dairy Queen Chill had their best game of the season Saturday night in their home opener.

The Chill beat the Battlefords Barons 9-1 in their first game at the Kinsmen Arena.

Tanner Hendriks had five points to lead Chill offensively, while Derek Koivisto and Caden Joanis both registered hat tricks in the game.

The Chill are now 3-0 to start the year, after a pair of 3-2 victories on the road against the Martensville Marauders and Warman Wildcats last weekend.

The Chill’s next game is on Tuesday in Saskatoon against the Screaming Eagles. The Chill return to the Kinsmen to play the Meadow Lake Stampeders on Friday.
