Sandy Bay power outage should be fixed by supper time

Sep 21, 2017 | 1:09 PM

The complete power outage in Sandy Bay and some surrounding areas is expected to be addressed by supper time, Thursday.

This information comes from SaskPower’s Jordan Jackle.

“It’s a failed insulator on top of a structure that crosses a river near the community,” Jackle told paNOW.  “What happened is that insulator failed and caused a pole to burn.”

Roughly 350 customers – which is the entire community plus some nearby residents – have been without power since Wednesday afternoon.
