The Office of the Saskatchewan Coroner has confirmed the identity of the Prince Albert man killed in a hunting accident Saturday.

He was 23-year-old Jordan Darchuk.

Social media has been inundated with condolences to the family since the tragedy near Weirdale.

On Saturday Nipawin RCMP responded to a complaint of an injured man in a rural field. An investigation revealed two men, both from Prince Albert, but not known to each other, were hunting separately and apart from one another.
