All wildfire evacuees set to return home

The chief of the Peter Ballantyne Cree Nation has lifted the evacuation order for the remaining residents of Pelican Narrows.

Chief Peter A. Beatty told the elderly, those with chronic breathing conditions, and pregnant women on Sept. 20 they were free to return home.

Evacuees remaining in Prince Albert with their own transportation are instructed to visit the Waskesiu Room of the PA Inn to receive gas vouchers.

Evacuees in Saskatoon with their own transportation are asked to check in at the Travelodge-Saskatoon for gas vouchers.
