Sep 9, 2017 | 8:52 PM

Prince Albert RCMP continues to investigate a fatal pedestrian hit-and-run that took place approximately four kilometres north of Prince Albert on Highway 2 last week.

Around noon on Friday, police were called to an injured pedestrian who had been hit by a vehicle which had fled the scene. The 58-year-old pedestrian from Montreal Lake was pronounced dead at the scene. Police will not be releasing the man’s name.

An RCMP collision reconstruction investigator attended the scene and traffic was reduced to one lane on both sides of the highway for some time.
