Smoke in Northern Saskatchewan likely to last several days

Aug 17, 2017 | 11:50 AM

The smoke in Northern Saskatchewan isn’t getting any clearer anytime soon.

Smoke is coming in from all directions due to wildfires predominetly in Manitoba and British Columbia.

Meteorologist Terri Lang and with Enviornment Canada said relief is not expected any time soon.

“Unfortunately, until the fires are out for the season, the smoke is going to be around for a long period of time. Particularly for the next few days it will be quite bad considering the area weather conditions to follow along with it,” she said.
