An investigation into methamphetamine trafficking in Saskatoon by the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) has led to the arrest of a 42-year-old Warman area man.

On Tuesday, Saskatoon police – along with tactical and air support units – tracked the man down to the 1600 block of 8th Street East, where he was arrested for possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Following the arrest, a search warrant was executed at a Haichert Street residence in Warman, where police found 945 grams – about two pounds – of methamphetamine, seven grams of cocaine, 31 grams of cannabis resin and eight grams of marijuana.

The search also turned up $7,500 in cash, knives and brass knuckles.
