Three people are facing drug and weapons charges after a traffic stop early this morning.

At roughly 3:45 a.m. this morning, while on routine patrol, officers observed a vehicle driving fast and erratic. Officers pulled the vehicle over in the 300 Block of 27th St. E.

The 27-year-old male driver was driving without a license, as well as breaching court ordered conditions. Both passengers were also found to have outstanding warrants, and all three were arrested.

After searching the vehicle, police found five grams of methamphetamine, 0.7 grams of cocaine, 4.8 grams of marijuana, a digital scale and five 12 gauge shot gun shells.
