12 arrested in month-long drug bust

A month-long, joint investigation conducted by multiple law enforcement teams from Regina, Prince Albert, Waskesiu and Meadow Lake, resulted in the seizure of 95 grams of cocaine, 153 grams of marijuana, 42 grams of cannabis resin, two sets of brass knuckles, a conducted energy weapon, three rifles, a shotgun. two vehicles and $3,550.

Twelve people – Trevor McCallum, 37; Elena Mirasty, 35; Nicole Daigneault, 27; Karri Roberts, 21; Kelvin Olson, 32; Deborah McKenzie, 27; Cody McKenzie, 22; Cheryl McKenzie, 29; Brent Reitburger, 37; Sheldon Charles, 18; Davis Miller, 28; and Marc Savidan, 37, all of La Ronge – have been charged with multiple offences including possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime, and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Five of the twelve suspects will appear June 19 in La Ronge provincial court, with the rest to follow later.
