Silver Saturday in Saskatoon for Dragons

It was a silver Saturday in Saskatoon for the Saskatchewan Rivers Dragons at the Rowland’s Cup high school rugby tournament.

The Dragons got their second place finish by beating the Saskatoon Goats 12-10 in the semifinals, before falling to the best team in the region, the Warman Springboks 19-5.

Jesse Mourot and Royce Brittain scored tries for the Dragons in the semi-final match.

Elijah McPherson had the lone try for the Dragons in the finals.
