RCMP looking for suspects in $50K theft on Wilkie farmyard

RCMP are asking for help to identify suspects after a farmyard near Wilkie was robbed early Tuesday morning.

Police said around 2:30 a.m. on May 23, numerous items were taken from the building including a camouflage 2013 Polaris Ranger UTV, a 1988 ATV, various tools, chains and tow straps, as well as a set of wheels and rims.

A stolen vehicle was also recovered from the farmyard.

The approximate total value of the stolen goods is $50,000.

RCMP noted a white Ford Truck was found stuck near the scene of the theft.

Police released surveillance footage of the suspects and vehicles used during the crime.

People are reminded to ensure all vehicles and buildings are locked, with the keys taken out, and to contact local authorities if suspicious vehicles are seen in the community.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Unity RCMP detachment at 306-228-6300, the Wilkie RCMP at 306-843-3480 or the Macklin RCMP at 306-753-2171.

People can remain anonymous by calling Saskatchewan Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or *8477 on the SaskTel Mobility Network, or submitting a tip online.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,000 for information which leads to the arrest of person(s) responsible for any serious crime. 

Wilkie is located around 160 kilometres west of Saskatoon.
