1 alcohol-related arrest in P.A. over long weekend

Prince Albert residents appeared responsible over the long weekend, as police report only one individual arrested for drinking and driving.
A reported 340 vehicles were pulled over resulting in one impaired driving charge, and 17 alcohol-related tickets. MADD and police also handed out 60 ‘positive tickets’ to those who showed good driving behaviour.
The one impaired driving charge happened Saturday before midnight, when officers saw a vehicle driving erratically with its tail lights off. When officers approached the vehicle, the driver appeared intoxicated and smelled of alcohol. The 35-year-old man failed his breathalyzer and was charged with impaired driving and exceeding .08.
