May 9, 2017 | 9:35 AM

With a first round draft pick and excitement building for a new season, the Prince Albert Raiders are opening their arena to fans.

The Raiders will host an open house on Saturday, May 13 at the Art Hauser Centre to show-off, what they’re calling, the future of the team.

“We think that we’re starting something special,” Business Manager Mike Scissons said. “We want people to get into the Art Hauser Centre and witness what we’re building.”

Scissons said he and the Board of Directors have endevoured to sell 2,000 season tickets this year.

Players such as Cole Fonstad, Carson Miller, Brayden Pachal, and Rhett Rhinehart will attend the open house. Raiders’ 2017 drafts, including first overall pick Kaiden Guhle, will sign their WHL Standard Player Agreements at the event.

The open house will run from noon to 4 p.m., with Guhle and the rest signing at 1:30 p.m. Fans will have access to the Raiders’ locker room, coaches’ office and will be able to view seats available for purchase during the 2017-18 season. The concessions will be open, also games and face painting for the kids.
