Purolator to ship library books across Sask. as STC closes

May 2, 2017 | 12:36 PM

The inter-provincial library system has returned, just weeks before the Saskatchewan Transportation Company (STC) is set to stop shipping freight.

The program allows library users to access book across the province.

It was STC that transported those books, but with the bus company being scrapped in the provincial budget, the Ministry of Central Services had to explore other options.

The government confirmed Purolator will be the service provider on an interim basis – good news for readers who rely on the service.
