The lacrosse season is off to a good start for the Prince Albert Predators, who secured victory Saturday in Moose Jaw, taking the Mustangs 8 – 6 in their first league game of the year in the Prairie Gold Lacrosse League.

It was two-all at the end of the first period, but P.A. took and held the lead at the end of the second, up 5 – 4, before capping off the game with three more goals in the third to tame the Mustangs.

The pressure was on all game, as P.A. put up 44 shots to Moose Jaw’s 33.

Connor Corrigal, Brody Low and Dillan Cochrane each found the back of the net twice, with Ashton Hall and Tanner Vancoughnett each tallying a goal.
